Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub on the 23rd of December 1942 as Kommandeur of Jäger-Regiment 56, 5. Jäger-Division
Josef Sporrer: Gefreiter Stabs-Kompanie/Grenadier Regiment 290. He was wounded by grenade fragments in his left underarm and lung during the battles for the Kuban Bridgehead on the 22nd of July 1943. He later died in a field hospital on the second of August 1943. He was buried on the 4th of August in Pilenkowo (60 km northwest of Krimskaja)
3) Wound Badge in Black: the document was issued on the 25th of July 1942 for being wounded the first time on the 22nd of July 1943 and signed by an Oberst und Regimentskommandeur.
4) EK 2: the document was issued on the 27th of July 1943 with orginal signature of General der Artillerie und Kommandierender General (of the XXXXIV. Armeekorps see stamp on the document) Maximilian de Angelis.
