Press picture showing General and  later Knight's Cross Holder Ludwig Kübler with the Olympia Ehrenzeichen erster Klasse in wear.  General Kübler commanded the 1st. Mountain Division and was sentenced to death for war crimes. He was hanged in Ljubljaana on 18 August 1947.
 
The picture shows him together with Oberstleutnant Lanz, Kommandeur Jäger Regiment 100.
