Death card to  Anton Kroiß, Obermaschinist  on the U-199. KIA on the 28th of June 1943.
He was decorated with the  U-Boat War Badge, EK 1+ EK2 and the Spanish Cross in Bronze
 
The U-200 was  sunk on the 24th of June1943 south-west of the Iceland by 2 depth charges from a British B-24 Liberator Aircraft
 
As often seen on Uboot death cards the date of the death is incorrectly mentioned on the card.
