Top rare Fallschirmschützenschein des Heeres  issued to Gefreiter Hans Mordhorst.
 
The Fallschirmschützenschein is a 2. Form type with issue number 848 since Mordhorst was transferred from Infanterie-Regiment 6 to the Fallschirmjäger-Infanterie- Bataillon. Nice passbild of Mordhorst wearing the typical shoulder straps of the FIB.
 
It was issued on the 27th of August 1938 after he completed his jump training and signed by Oberleutnant Henning Freiherr von Brandis who was KIA on the 10th of May 1940 leading an Assault with the 3./FJR 1 in the area of the Dordrecht, Holland.
 
Additional note on the Fallschirmschützenschein stating that Mordhorst  is transferred to the 5./Fallschirmjäger Regiment from the first of January 1939 and also signed by Oberleutnant von Brandis.
