Rare private picture made in Soissons, France 1942 showing General Wolfgang Fischer with  DKIG and Knight's Cross in wear with next to him Oberstleutnant  and DKIG- Holder Ulrich Bürker. 
 
Bürker was also a recipient of the Bloodorder and a later Knight's Cross winner ( awarded on the 19th of January 1943 for his actions in Tunesia, Afrika while serving in the 10. Panzer Division)
 
General Wolfgang Fischer was KIA on the 1st of February 1943 at Sbikka, Tunesia as Kommandeur der 10. Panzer Division.
