Soldbuch to Obergefreiter Martin Gebauer , born on the 29th of April 1921 in Schlegel, Kreis Glatz. The soldbuch is a first issue example and was opened in October 1942  with the Schwere Flak-Ersatz-Abteilung 11 stationed in Königsberg
 
He was trained in the 13./Flakwaffentechnische Schule Magdeburg-Prester. From 1.4.1943 till 28.1.1944 he served in the 4./ Schwere Flak-Abteilung 257 and the 4. Schwere Flak-Abteilung 293(v) (all part of the 9. Flak-Division), located in Sewastopol, Krim area from March 1943 till its destruction in May 1944.
 
The remaining troops of the Schwere Flak-Abt. 293(v) became part of the newly formed I./Flak-Regiment 27 after their destruction in Sewastopol. This regiment was deployed in Trier till the end of the war as part of the 9. Flak-Division.
 
 
He  started his career as Kanonier. On the first of February 1944 he was promoted to Gefreiter and finally to Obergrefreiter on the first of December 1944 .
 
He was awarded theTätigkeitsabzeichen der Flakartillerie (Flakkampfabzeichen) while serving with the Schwere Flakabteilung 293(v) for his actions in the Krim.
