Second Issue Soldbuch+ framed portrait  to Leutnant  Hans-Heinrich Kräft. He was born on the 16th of June in Woltersdorf, Dannenberg

 

The second issue Soldbuch was opened on the 21st of June 1944 with the 9./ Panzer-Grenadier-Regiment 33.

 

Panzergrenadier Regiment 33 was formed on the 5th of July 1942 in Central Russia and was part of the 4th Panzer-Division.

 

On page 15 of the Soldbuch one can see the signature of Bataillonskommandeur and KC-Holder Kurt Schäfer (awarded the DKIG, Ritterkreuz, Nahkampfspange i. Gold and Ehrenblattspange while serving in Panzer-Grenadier Rgt 33)

 

Leutnant Kräft was already awarded the EK2 for his actions in Polen on the 8th of October 1939. Other awards entered in the Soldbuch are:

 

1.10.1939: Medaille zur Erinnerung an den 1.10.1938 (Anschlussmedaille Sudetenland)

1.11.1941: Verwundetenabzeichen i. Schwarz

10.2.1942: Panzerkampf Abezichen in Bronze

18.2.1943: EK1

17.7.1944: Verwundetenabzeichen i. Silber

 

Attached in the Soldbuch ,there's also a list with 8 Nahkampftage  (Kritschew, Rollbahn Roslawl (Smolensk area),Mzensk (Orel area),...)

 

The Soldbuch has a nice passphoto of him showing the EK1 and Panzer Assault Badge.

 

Soldbuch: good condition, complete with passphoto, nothing denazified, front cover has been perforated

 

In addition to the Soldbuch, there's also a large framed uniform picture of  this young, brave Ltn.(comparable with the one in his Soldbuch)

 

33 cm x 44 cm (with frame), atelier stamped on the back by Glasermeister Adolf Gerlach in Lüchow.
