Death card to Max Stadler, Maschinengefreiter on the U-126 and KIA on the 1st of July 1942 west of Bermuda.  He was decorated with the EK2 and the U-Boat War Badge.
 
The U-158 was sunk on  the 30th of June 1942 in the North Atlantic, west of the Bermuda, by depth charges from a PBM Mariner aircraft commanded by Richard Schreder of United States Navy Squadron VP-74.
 
As often seen on Uboot death cards the date of the death is incorrectly mentioned on the card.
