Death card to Leopold Schürz, Uboot Mechanikermaat. KIA on the 23rd of October 1943.  He was decorated with the  Iron Cross First and Second Class, Destroyer War Badge, and the U-Boat War Badge.
 
The U-658 was sunk on 21/10/1943 (not on 23/10/1943 like the card states)  in the Mediterranean Sea off Algiers by depth charges from a British Wellington aircraft.

Condition: good, normal traces of aging.
