Second Issue Wehrpass to Oberjäger and NSDAP-member Karl Schneider. He was born on the 6th of April 1913 in Trupbach, Siegen.
Schneider started his active military career in May1939 with Infanterie Regiment 63/16. Erg./ Panzer-Abwehr stationed in Ingolstadt.
He was trained with the K98, 3,7 cm PAK and Pistole 08.
On the first of August 1939 he was promoted to Unterführeranwärter and on the first of April 940 to Gefreiter. He saw his last promotion on the first of December 1940 to Oberjäger.
After his training he was transferred to the 14. Panzer-Abwehr Kompanie Infanterie Regiment 468, part of the 268. Infanterie Division. His unit was deployed in Saarpfalz and came into action in the Westfeldzug during the attack on the Maginotlinie, south of Saarbrücken. Followed by battles in the area of the Seille and Rhein-Marne-Kanal, Mosel and Vogesen. After the French campaign he was part of the occupation forces.
On the 13th of November 1942 he was transferred to the 13th Komp. Panzerjäger of Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 756 (part of the 334. Infanterie Divsion). The regiment was moved to Tunesia beginning from 28th of December 1942.
2 months later Karl Schneider was KIA on the 22nd of January 1943 at Sidi Saad, Tunesia.
