Soldbuch to Matrosenhauptgefreiter Georg Zwanzig who was born on the 26th of September 1919 in Oschersleben.
 
His soldbuch was opened in June 1941 with the Unterseebootsabnahmekommando Beischiff "Amazone"
 
He was promoted to  Matrosengefreiter on the first of July 1941, then Matrosenobergefreiter on the first of July 1942 and finnaly to Matrosenhauptgefreiter on the first of July 1944.
 
He was awarded the Schutzwallehrenzeichen on the 16th of May 1940.
 
Georg Zwanzig was trained in the 2. U-Ausbildungsabteilung in Neustadt. In November 1944 he was active in the 25. Unterseebootsflotille. The other fieldpost numbers have been blacked out.
